SOARING WITH TABLETS AND FLOATING ON CLOUDS: ANSWERING THE ETHICAL QUESTIONS OF BEING MOBILE AND WORKING IN THE CLOUD
Everyone carries a mobile device today, but how much confidential information are you carrying in your pocket? You’ve also heard about the amazing advantages of cloud-computing but you’re nervous about what information you can ethically float up in the sky. As per the amended Model Rules of Professional Conduct, you now have a duty to be aware of the "risks and benefits” of the technology you use every day. Mobile devices and cloud services help us practice more efficiently than ever, but this plenary session will ensure you can identify the associated risks and adequately protect the confidential information that’s been entrusted to you.   The New Proposed WV Rules of Professional Conduct will also be discussed.
